Ruth studied at the University of Central Lancashire and upon graduation felt the pull back to East Anglia. Now living in Suffolk, the rolling patchwork of fields and ancient coppice woods have ignited Ruth’s love to paint the natural world.
Ruth mainly paints in acrylic inks but often plays with oils and enjoys mixing her mediums up as her painting style evolves. Many of her artworks show swathes of wildflowers self-seeded in hedgerows.
