From a child I always loved to draw and paint.When I left school I took a two year foundation course at Harrow school of Art.I was then accepted to Goldsmiths college in London to do a BA in fine art and textiles. I did not complete the course and dropped out after the first year. After this I did not pick up a paintbrush for 38 years .

Then I heard of a life drawing class in my area and decided to see if I could still draw. After this there was no stopping me .I only started watercolour painting in 2018 and I found it very difficult.I loved botanical art and am also keen gardener.

I embarked on Dianne Sutherlands fantastic botanic illustration course where I learnt an amazing amount and from there was accepted on her Advanced course.

I was so delighted to be invited to join ICENI. I still work full time but being part of this group is so encouraging and makes me focus.I am excited to display some of my work at the coming exhibitions .
