Hazel Rush

Hazel studied Fine Art at Sunderland College of Art receiving a Diploma in Art and Design with second class honours. She spent some time in Sweden and Germany working in ceramics. Her teaching career spans 30 years Head of Art teaching children 11 – 16 yrs. and in Adult Education.

After retirement she ran her own studio teaching adults the art of watercolour and continued to exhibit her own work too. Later on she studied Botanical Art with the S.B.A and received a distinction for her work. She went on to exhibit her botanical work with the S.B.A. and the Iceni Botanical Artists. Currently she is developing a freer approach to her work and is also producing landscapes from the New Buckenham area where she has lived with her husband Clive for many years.
